The Bangsamoro Party (BAPA) is a BARMM regional party affiliated with the Muslimin Sema-led faction of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), which since its 1996 peace agreement with Manila has split into rival wings. Launched on January 8, 2022 and tied to the MNLF's Executive Council of 15 (EC-15), it was billed as the first political party in the front's history. It is led by veteran MNLF figure Muslimin Sema, who also serves as the Bangsamoro government's labor minister and is a former Cotabato City mayor. The Commission on Elections accredited BAPA in November 2024 for the postponed May 2025 parliamentary polls, and it remains among the accredited major regional parties for the 2026 election, fielding Deputy Speaker Omar Yasser Sema — Muslimin Sema's son — as its first nominee.
